Sing for the Cure is a narrated song cycle. The text is based on the true stories of breast cancer survivors and their caregivers. Music for the 10 choral numbers was written by 10 different composers, so as the moods and messages shift, so do the musical styles. This powerful piece offers an incredible cathartic experience for both performers and audience members, expressing the fear, the courage, the humor and the hope we all need in the face of cancer.
All proceeds benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
