The Art of Song showcases the precision, blend, and expressive power of small ensemble singing from GMCC and WCC. Featuring the combined ensemble Spite & Malice, this program highlights some of the most compelling close-harmony repertoire being performed today.

From the rhythmic drive of The Water Fountain (Tune-Yards) to the intricate textures of Operator (Manhattan Transfer), the warmth of The Luckiest (Voces8), and the color-rich writing of Jacob Collier’s Little Blue, each piece puts musical storytelling front and center.

Expect tight ensemble work, bold musical choices, and moments that land with real impact. This is close harmony at its most intimate—up close, fully present, and not to be missed.
