Courage doesn’t always mean being fearless. Sometimes it means recognizing what’s at stake, feeling the heat — and stepping forward anyway.

Join the Women’s Chorus of Charlotte for Into Fire, a powerful and wide-ranging concert exploring courage, resilience, and what happens when we choose to act rather than stand by.

And when we say wide-ranging, we mean it.

From the breathtaking intensity of Mozart’s Dies Irae to the irresistible groove of The Trammps’ Disco Inferno, Into Firemoves between the profound and the playful, with music including Joan Szymko’s Malala, Adele’s Set Fire to the Rain, and Burn from Hamilton.

Some of these songs honor people who have found extraordinary courage when the moment demanded it. Others explore the fires we survive, the ones we start, and the ones that simply make us want to get up and dance.

At its heart, Into Fire celebrates the strength we find in ourselves and in one another — and the choice to keep moving forward, even when retreat would be easier.
